Like all the holidays this year, this Halloween / Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Death) will be looking much much different than past years. Depending on where you are living in the world, trick or treating might be cancelled or will have distancing restrictions... but don't let it stop the fun!
I have been enjoying putting the table just for my family of 4 lately. My girls love to help around and give me their unique ideas. I started my company with a simple idea in mind: creating long-lasting memories around a beautiful table. And one thing COVID has brought to this family that Im grateful for, is togetherness and discovering doing things just the 4 of us is just as much fun and having a larger get-together.
Having a Mexican heritage, this year I decided to marry Halloween with Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Death) decor around the house. You can see my tutorial for decorating pumpinks with skull paper napkins here.
For this tablescape, I used my newly decorated pumpinks with other fun items I found at the dollar store. I love how I can find all kinds of hig-end looking things for cheap in this stores. A couple of hand-made paper flowers and the table was basically done!
Im featuring the DENSSIMA tablecloth, as I wanted the table to have some contrast with all the colorful elements I was going to introduce. This gives the table a good balance and keeps it classy.
Hope you enjoyed my version of Halloween/Dia de los Muertos tablescape. It sure was fun to create!
