HOW TO ELEVATE A NEW YEARS EVE TABLESCAPE WITH DISPOSABLE DECOR
Who said you have to have expensive table top products or elaborate center pieces to have a beautiful New Year's tablescape? Here are some tips to having a festive and disposable tablescape for New Year's Eve!
Let's be honest... this year we don’t have the energy to wash dishes for the last day of this challenging year! We still want to celebrate though (even if is only an intimate immediate family affair) so that is where my idea for a beautiful yet disposable tablescape came from!
Disposable decor items you will need for your tablescape:
- Paper plates (main dish and dessert sizes)
- Paper napkins
- Paper coasters
- Paper DIY party hats (here's a DIY tutorial on these specific party hats!)
- Paper clock plate card
- Paper straws
- Paper oversized confetti
- Plastic water cups
Regular table top items:
- Wine glasses
- DIY napkin rings (check out my post on how to make these)
So as you see, you are throwing on the recycle bin most of the stuff you will be using. Easy clean up!
Here's how it looks:
Worth mentioning that all of the paper items I was able to find at the dollar store, so not only is this tablescape low-maintenance but also it was VERY low-cost! The coasters and plate cards I printed at home on cardstock, so that was another fun but free thing to add, and so festive!
